Okay, we’re always hearing the mantra that content on any website or blog is CRUCIAL. So why is that? There are at least three good reasons.

First, people come to your site to seek out information, advice, opinions, etc. This all comprises what we call “content.”  Visitors may want to buy something, look for answers to questions and solve problems, see what’s going on in the world, see what other people are saying, or even to spill their own guts about what’s bugging them. A web log, or “blog” (yeah! now we know what a “blog” is) is one place for web surfers to go if they’re seeking out information on a specific topic. They will find a community of people interested in the same subject area. That’s why quality content surrounding those topics is so important. People need and want that information not only to read about it, but also to provide it.
